About Our Sacred Temple
Siddh Peeth Shree Lakshminarayan Temple is Singapore's first dedicated place of worship for North Indian Hindus. Its name derives from a combination of the names of its main deities: Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth, prosperity, and consort of Vishnu) and Narayan (Vishnu - responsible for the preservation and protection of the universe).
The foundation stone was laid in 1960. Built against great difficulties and completed around the mid-1960s with the support and donations of almost 10,000 North Indian Hindus across Singapore.
Bestowed "Siddh Peeth" Status
During the 50th Anniversary in October 2020, Padma Vibhushan recipient Jagadguru Swami Shree Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj from Chitrakoot, India, bestowed the sacred status of "Siddh Peeth" upon the temple — a historic spiritual elevation led by Chief Priest of the temple that time.
